Nuclear Fuel Complex (NFC)

1.       Candidates must apply for Nuclear Fuel Complex, Hyderabad, using the NAPS portal (www.apprenticeshipindia.gov.in) with the establishment code E11153600013. All necessary documents/ certificates must be uploaded on the portal. Refer to Annexure-I for full details.

2.       Selection of candidates will be based purely on merit, and the selected candidates will be notified via email.

3.       The last date for submitting applications is 25/11/2024.

4.       Applications received after the deadline or incomplete applications will not be considered.

Selection Procedure:

1. The Selection Committee of NFC will review the applications and shortlist candidates based on the vacancies.
2. For trades other than electricians, selection will be based on merit (percentage of marks in the qualifying examination). In case of a tie, 10th/SSC marks will be used as a tiebreaker.
3. Candidates for the electrician trade will be selected based on an interview.

Nuclear Fuel Complex (NFC)

1.       The apprenticeship offer does not grant any right to employment at NFC.

2.      Apprenticeship trainees will not be appointed at NFC after training completion, nor can they claim for it.

3.       Selected candidates must report at NFC, Hyderabad.

4.       Minimum age as of the application closing date: 18 years. Maximum age: General: 25 years; OBC: 28 years, SC/ST – 30 years.

5.       Candidates who have already completed or are undergoing apprenticeship under the Apprenticeship Act, 1961, are not eligible to apply.

6.       Apprentices must pass a trade test to receive the National Apprenticeship Certificate issued by DGT.

7.       ITI candidates must register on the NAPS portal (www.apprenticeshipindia.gov.in) and apply.

8.       Candidates should monitor their email for updates throughout the selection process.

9.       Post-graduates are not eligible to apply.

10.   Reservations will be applied according to the Apprenticeship Act, 1961, and relevant rules. Candidates claiming SC/ST/OBC reservations must indicate it during NAPS registration and provide original certificates when joining.

11.   Suppression of facts will lead to disqualification at any stage of the selection process.

12.   Candidature will be rejected if documents do not match the desired qualifications during verification.

13.   Selected candidates must provide a medical fitness certificate from a civil surgeon/assistant civil surgeon at joining.

14.   Accommodation will be provided based on the availability of quarters.

15.   Candidates must initiate police verification for the address on their Aadhaar card and provide the certificate on the joining date.

16.   Candidates must bring a printout of the application form and originals/photocopies of required documents (e.g., SSC/ITI certificates, caste certificates, Aadhaar cards, police verification certificates, bank details, passport-sized photos) during document verification.

17.   Apprentices breaching the contract terms will refund training costs to NFC and will be ineligible for further apprenticeship contracts under the Act.

18.   Selected candidates will receive a stipend as per the Apprenticeship Act of 1961.

19. The character and antecedents of selected candidates will be verified.

20.   No TA/DA will be provided for joining.

21.   A one-year contract must be executed as per the Apprenticeship Act of 1961.

22.   Canvassing or influencing by or on behalf of any candidate will lead to immediate disqualification.

23.   NFC Management’s decision will be final in case of disputes.
