  3. Application Completion:
  • Fill out the form carefully and completely. Ensure all fields are accurate.
  • Affix a recent passport-size photograph in the designated space on the form.
  • Attach self-attested copies of all required supporting documents (refer to the “Documents Required” section in the job post).
  • Submission: Please send the completed application form and attached documents via post to the following address: Deputy Manager (HRM), Nuclear Power Corporation of India Limited, Madras Atomic Power Station, Kalpakkam, Tamil Nadu—603102.
  • Deadline: Applications must reach NPCIL by 30/04/2025. Late submissions will not be considered, and incomplete or erroneous applications will be summarily rejected.
  1. Self-attested copies of educational certificates (10th/12th, ITI, diploma, or graduation).
  2. Valid caste certificate (if applicable).
  3. Income and asset certificate for EWS candidates.
  4. Disability certificate (if applicable).
  5. Police verification certificate.

  7. Apprentice registration proof from apprenticeshipindia.gov.in or nats.education.gov.in.
  1. Priority for Local Candidates: Preference will be given to candidates residing within a 16-kilometer radius of the Madras Atomic Power Station. If all positions are not filled by local candidates, others will be considered based on merit.
  2. Merit-Based Selection:
  • Candidates will be shortlisted based on marks obtained in their qualifying ITI/Diploma/Degree courses.
  • A merit list will be prepared for each trade/discipline, considering academic performance.
  • Tie-Breaking Criteria: In case of identical marks:
  • Older candidates will be given preference based on their birthdate.
  • If the birthdate is also identical, higher matriculation marks will determine the rank in the merit list.
  • Medical Fitness: Selected candidates must pass a medical fitness examination conducted by NPCIL as per the corporate requirements.
  1. Contractual Apprenticeship:
  • The apprenticeship is governed by the Apprentices Act-1961, and NPCIL has no obligation to offer employment after its completion.
  • Similarly, apprentices are not mandated to accept any employment offers post-training.
  • Age Relaxation:
  • Relaxation is provided as per Government norms:
    • SC/ST: 5 years
    • OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): 3 years
    • PwBD: 10 years
  • Police Verification: As Madras Atomic Power Station is a high-security area, selected candidates must submit a Police Verification Certificate issued by district authorities, along with a Character/Conduct Certificate.
  • Document Requirements: Candidates must provide self-attested copies of essential documents, such as:
  • Educational certificates and mark sheets.
  • Valid caste certificate (for SC/ST/OBC candidates).
  • Benchmark disability certificate (if applicable).
  • Proof of apprentice registration at NAPS or NATS portals.
  • Residential proof, if within a 16 km radius.
  • Strict Standards:
  • NPCIL reserves the right to cancel or alter the selection process at any time without prior notice.
  • Applications with false, incorrect, or incomplete information will be immediately rejected, and candidates found guilty of such actions may face disqualification and legal consequences.
