Step 2: Fill Out the Online Application Form

• Provide personal details, academic qualifications, category information, and choice of CSIR NET subject.
• Upload the required documents, including
  • Recent photograph (10KB–200KB, white background, 80% face visible)
  • Signature (4KB–30KB)
  • Category Certificate (if applicable)
  • PwD Certificate (if applicable)
  • Result Awaited Attestation Form (for final-year candidates)

Step 3: Fee Payment

• Pay the prescribed CSIR NET application fee via Net Banking/Debit Card/Credit Card/UPI.

Selection Procedure: NTA CSIR UGC NET June 2025

Step 1: Computer-Based Test (CBT)

• The exam is objective-type, consisting of Multiple-Choice Questions (MCQs).
• The test is divided into three sections:
  • Part A: General Aptitude
  • Part B: Subject-Specific Questions
  • Part C: Higher Analytical Questions

Step 2: Merit List Compilation

• Candidates are ranked based on performance, percentile scores, and normalization procedures if applicable.
• Negative marking applies to incorrect answers.

Step 3: Admission & Further Procedures
