1. Registration Start Date: Register online at the POWERGRID website (https://www.powergrid.in/) starting from 12th June 2024 with your GATE 2024 registration number and other required information.
2. Application Deadline: Complete your online application by 04th July 2024.
3. GATE Registration Number: Enter your GATE 2024 Registration Number exactly as it appears on your GATE 2024 Admit Card in the online application form. No changes to this number or your name will be allowed after submission. Ensure all details match your GATE admit card.
4. Fill Details Carefully: Provide all other required details carefully, especially your email and alternative email, as all important communications will be sent via email.
5. Submit Application: Click the “Submit” button at the end of the application page. Upon acceptance, a unique POWERGRID Registration Number will be generated and displayed in the completed application form.
6. Application Fee Payment: If you are not exempt from the application fee (exemptions include SC/ST/PwBD/Ex-SM/Departmental candidates), log in to the candidate section and pay the non-refundable application fee of Rs. 500/- online.
7. Completion of Process: Your application process is complete only after the application fee is submitted (if applicable).
8. No Hard Copy Needed: Do not send a hard copy of your application by post.
9. Incomplete Applications: Incomplete applications, draft applications, or applications without the required fee (if applicable) will be rejected.

1. Upload Documents:
   • Latest color passport size photograph (.jpg, max 50 kb)
   • Scanned copy of signature (.jpg, max 30 kb)
   • DOB proof certificate
   • Caste certificate (if applicable)
   • Disability certificate (if applicable)
   • Discharge certificate (if applicable)
   • Age relaxation cum domicile certificate (if applicable)
   • Qualification final passing certificate or last semester/year mark sheet (for final year appearing candidates)
2. Personal Information:
   • Accurately declare Name and Date of Birth as per Birth or Matric certificate.
   • Correctly declare the category and be ready to provide original certificates when requested by POWERGRID.
3. Qualification Details:
   • Correctly enter qualification details including the date of qualifying as per certificates.
4. Print Application:
   • Print and safely keep a copy of the completed application for future reference.
5. Verification for GD and Interview:
   • Retain GATE 2024 admit card and score card for identity verification during GD and interview.
6. Photo ID for Interview:
   • Bring a valid photo ID (original only) to the interview. Photocopies will not be accepted.
7. Editing Application:
   • Application can be edited/updated until the last date of submission.
8. Agreement to Conditions:
