Eligibility Criteria

Age Requirement:

Applicants must be at least eighteen years of age as of 01.04.2023.

Educational Qualification:

Candidates should possess the prescribed qualification from a recognized University/Institute as a regular full-time course. Please note that diploma holders in allied branches of engineering are not eligible.

Work Experience:

Candidates who have completed Act Apprentice training or have job experience for one year or more are not eligible for this apprenticeship.

Passing Certificate and Percentage:

Applicants must have the passing certificate and final year mark sheet of the required qualification as of 01.01.2021. The minimum percentage should meet the final year or aggregate of the last two semesters. Additionally, the date of passing the final qualifying apprenticeship examination should be on or after 01.01.2021.

Posting of Training

The selected apprentices will undergo training at TROMBAY, MUMBAI, AND THAL, RAIGAD DISTRICT as per the Company’s requirements.

Mode of Selection

1. A merit list will be prepared based on the percentage criteria and applicable reservation secured by the applicant in their essential educational qualification. If your qualifying examination used CGPA/CPI or other grading systems, you should indicate the equivalent percentage as per norms of the concerned University/Institute. Candidates will need to provide a certificate from the University/Institute during the reporting phase for final selection.
2. Candidates from the merit list will be called for document verification.
3. Candidates residing within 50 km of the respective units are encouraged to apply, with a preference for those living within a 50 km radius.
4. Upon successful document verification and Contract Approval of Apprenticeship on the respective portal, candidates will be appointed as Apprentice Trainees. A seven-day period will be given for joining, and failure to do so may result in the cancellation of their candidature.
5. A wait list of candidates will be maintained and operated as needed.
6. In the event of candidates securing equal marks in the merit list (even after considering decimal points), the candidate with higher qualifications or, in the case of the same qualification, the candidate with more marks in the preceding educational qualification will be ranked higher in the merit list.

How to Apply

Step 1: Visit the website www.rcfltd.com.

Step 2: Click on “RECRUITMENT” and then select “ENGAGEMENT OF APPRENTICES -2023-24.”

Step 3: Review the full Advertisement Details and carefully read the instructions and terms and conditions before applying.

Step 4: Click on “I Accept” and then select “Apply Online” to complete the Application Form.

Step 5: Ensure you have a scanned copy of your passport-size color photograph in jpg/.jpeg format (not exceeding 75 KB) and your signature in .jpg/.jpeg format (not exceeding 25 KB).

Step 6: After filling out the Application form, click on “SAVE/SUBMIT” to save/submit the entered data.

Step 7: The application form will be generated upon submission.

Step 8: Click on the “Print” button to obtain a copy of the Application form, which will be required at the time of Joining if shortlisted. Please note that sending a printout of the registered application form is not required.

Other Requirements

4.  Bank Account and cheque Book with your name printed. The stipend will be deposited in this account.
5.  Marksheets/Passing Certificates for the qualifying examination.

Important Guidelines to Follow:

• Application Period:

The window for submitting online applications is open from 24 October 2023 to 7th November 2023.

• Contact Information:

Ensure the email address and mobile number provided in your application are active and valid from the date of submission.

• Bank Account Requirement:

All selected apprentices must possess an Aadhar-linked bank account in their name, preferably with a nationalized bank offering Internet banking and electronic facilities. This is where stipends from Rashtriya Chemicals and Fertilizers Limited will be disbursed.

• Mandatory PAN Card:

If chosen for an apprenticeship, candidates must have a PAN Card at the time of reporting.

• Documentary Proof:

If selected, it’s essential to present the following original certificates along with attested photocopies during the reporting phase (as applicable):

1.  Recent Passport Size Photos
2.  Proof of Age (SSC certificate/Birth Certificate/School leaving certificate)
3.  Educational Qualifications (All Passing Mark sheets and certificates of all semesters or years)
4.  Certificate from University/Institution indicating the equivalent percentage of marks in the qualifying examination
5.  Medical Fitness certificate from a Registered Medical Officer/Practitioner of a Government Municipal Hospital (as per the format in Annexure A)
6.  Caste Certificate for SC/ST candidates
7.  OBC (NCL) certificate for OBC (NCL) category candidates
8.  EWS certificate for EWS category candidates.

• Eligibility for AOCP Trade: Only candidates with B. Sc degrees in Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, or Biology will be considered for the AOCP trade under RDSDE.
• Alternative Graduate Apprentice Options: Those without Biology in their Graduation degree but with Zoology or Botany may apply as Graduate Apprentices in the training areas mentioned in Table A (Accounts Executive, Secretarial Assistant, and Recruitment Executive (HR)).
• Preference for Local Candidates: Candidates living within a 50 km radius of respective units are encouraged to apply, with local residents within this range receiving preference.
• Distance Learning and Part-time Mode: Qualifications obtained through Distance Learning Mode, Part-time mode, or Correspondence mode will not be taken into consideration.
• Completion of Training Period: Apprentices who do not complete the full training period or are absent without valid grounds, as per the Apprenticeship Act of 1961, will have their contracts terminated without notice. In such cases, no certificates will be issued, and stipend recovery may occur.
• Educational Qualification: Applicants should carefully review the full advertisement for specific details on educational qualifications and eligibility criteria before submitting their online applications.
• Application Reference: It’s recommended to retain a copy of the printed online application form for future reference. Applicants will need their application number and date of birth to download the Accepted Application form from the website.
• Medical Certificate Format: Only the provided medical certificate format will be accepted.
