The Space Applications Centre (SAC), Ahmedabad, one of the premier research centres of the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), has released Advertisement No. SAC:01:2025 for the recruitment of talented and motivated individuals. SAC is inviting online applications from Indian nationals for temporary positions of Project Scientist-I and Project Associate-I. 🔬 Project Scientist-I (01 Post)

  • Project: FASAL 2.0 – A flagship program for Forecasting Agricultural output using Space, Agro-meteorology, and Land-based observations.
  • Work Profile:
    • Analysis of Remote Sensing data to monitor crop health and yield.
    • Implementation and validation of crop yield models for 10 major crops.
    • Conducting field visits for data collection, calibration, and verification.
    • Supporting in-situ crop parameter measurement for accuracy.
  • Ideal Candidate: Ph.D. holders in Agriculture or M.E./M.Tech graduates in Agricultural Engineering/Information Technology with strong GIS and Remote Sensing expertise.

  • Projects: FASAL 2.0 (2 positions), IPCM (1 position), SUFALAM-II (4 positions).
