Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL)

1. Eligible and interested candidates must apply online through the SAIL website (SAIL Careers website). No other means or modes of application will be accepted.
2. Before applying, candidates should ensure they meet all eligibility criteria. Registration will be provisional, and issuance of admit card/ interview/ call letter does not imply acceptance of candidature.
3. Click on “Login” or “Apply”. If a new user, complete ONE-TIME registration first, then proceed to “Registered User” using User ID & Password.
4. Provide the required information, and upload a Photograph, Signature, and necessary certificates/ documents as specified.
5. Review the entered details carefully and Confirm. No further editing will be allowed after confirmation.
6. Make payment of the Application and/ or Processing Fee online. The payment link will be available after completing the application. Candidates bear additional charges.
7. Retain the E-receipt of the Application and/ or Processing Fee for future reference.
8. Apply after completing all steps and take a Printout with the Application ID.
9. Candidature may be rejected if any provided information is false, does not conform to eligibility criteria, or lacks valid documentary proof.
10. Follow all steps carefully while filling out the online application. Incomplete applications or those without fees will be summarily rejected.
11. Applicants must read and follow instructions for online application submission (available on the Application page).

Before applying, candidates must have:

• Valid E-mail ID for registration and future correspondence.
• Working Mobile Number to receive SMS notifications/communications.
• Access to internet connectivity.
• Recent scanned passport-sized color photograph (jpg format).
• Scanned signature (jpg format).
• Access to online payment services like Net Banking, Credit Card, or Debit Card.

• Matriculation Certificate (Proof of Date of Birth).
• Passing Certificate of relevant degree.
• Experience Certificates indicating job profile and area of experience.
• Documents supporting a minimum of two years experience in the next below grade/ pay (for PSU/ Govt. only).
• Appointment Offers, Promotion Orders, Release Orders, and Last pay slip/ Salary received from the company.

SAIL Manager Executive Vacancy 2024 General Instructions

1. Retain a printout of the submitted complete application form to be presented at the time of the Interview if shortlisted.
2. Application fees once paid will not be refunded under any circumstances. Candidates should ensure eligibility before payment and provide accurate payment details. Failed transactions will be refunded automatically to the original account.
3. All communication with candidates will be through e-mail/ SMS only. Examination schedules admit cards, results, interview schedules, and final selection details will be communicated via email or uploaded on the SAIL website. Candidates must regularly visit the SAIL Careers website for updates.
4. General Guidelines:

·         Candidates must be Indian Nationals with qualifications from recognized/ accredited universities or institutes.

·          Applicants must meet all eligibility criteria specified in the advertisement. Details provided during the application will be verified with original documents at the time of the Interview.

·         Percentage marks will be calculated based on total marks obtained in all subjects across semesters/years.

·         CGPA scores will be converted into equivalent percentages as per university norms. Conversion norms must be provided at the time of the Interview.

·         Qualifications obtained through Distance mode/ correspondence/ off-campus are not eligible.

·         Separate applications are required for each eligible post. Candidates eligible for multiple posts should apply accordingly.

·         Full name must match the Matriculation/ Secondary certificate.

·         Reservation category candidates must submit valid Caste Certificates issued by a Revenue Officer.

·         False information or non-conformity with eligibility criteria may lead to rejection of candidature at any stage.

·          Information entered during the online application cannot be changed later.

·         Departmental candidates (existing SAIL employees) are not eligible to apply.

·         Using influence or unfair means will lead to disqualification.

·         Candidates employed in Govt. Departments/ PSUs/ Autonomous Bodies require NOC from the current employer (Interview) and release order (joining).

·         Request for change of examination center will not be entertained for Computer Based Test (CBT).

·         Outstation candidates attending the Interview will be reimbursed AC-3 Tier Rail fare along with reservation/tatkal charges if the distance exceeds 30 kilometers each way.

·         Any disputes shall be subject to jurisdiction in Bokaro, Jharkhand.

·         In case of disparity between English and Hindi versions of the advertisement, the English version will prevail.
