HOW TO APPLY:

To apply for the examination, follow these steps:

1.       Visit the official website of the Commission at https://ssc.nic.in for online submission of applications.

2.       Detailed instructions can be found in Annexure-I and Annexure-II of the Notice. Check these annexures for guidance.

3.       Utilize the attached Annexure-IA and Annexure-IIA for the One-time Registration and online Application Forms.

4.       In the online Application Form, upload a scanned color passport-size photograph in JPEG format (20 KB to 50 KB). Ensure the photo is recent, within three months of the Notice of Examination, with dimensions of approximately 3.5 cm (width) x 4.5 cm (height). The photograph should show a frontal view of the face without a cap or spectacles.

5.       The deadline for online applications is 28-12-2023. Submit your application well before this date to avoid potential issues due to heavy website traffic during the closing days.

6.       The Commission will not be held responsible for any difficulties faced by candidates in submitting applications on the last date, whether due to heavy website traffic or other unforeseen reasons.

7.       Before final submission, double-check that all details in the online application form are accurate. Note that no changes or corrections will be allowed after submission, irrespective of the circumstances. Requests for modifications received through Post, Fax, Email, by hand, etc., will not be entertained.

GENERAL CONDITIONS:

1.       Before applying, carefully read the instructions provided in the Notice of Examination. In case of any dispute, the English version will prevail.

2.       Submit online applications well before the closing date to avoid potential disconnection or login issues due to heavy website traffic during the closing days.

3.       Document collection and verification will occur during the Document Verification (DME) by the CAPFs. Candidature is provisional, and if any claims in the application are unsubstantiated during DME, the candidature will be canceled.

4.       Candidates seeking reservation benefits must possess relevant certificates in the prescribed format. Migration choices for SC/ST/OBC candidates should be made carefully in the online Application Form.

5.       Persons with Disabilities (PwD) are ineligible to apply for this examination.

6.       Provide correct and active email addresses and mobile numbers in the online application for communication purposes.

7.       Pay a fee of Rs 100/- (except for women candidates and those eligible for reservation). Details must match the matriculation certificate.

8.       Upload a scanned color passport-size photograph in JPEG format (20 KB to 50 KB) in the online application. Ensure it is recent and without a cap or spectacles.

9.       Exercise due diligence while providing information about domicile state and district. No requests for changes will be entertained after submission.

10.   Be cautious while giving preferences of CAPFs/organizations in the online application. Only one application is allowed, and multiple applications will be rejected.

11.   Verify all details before final submission; no changes will be allowed afterward.

12.   Print the application form for personal records; it may not be required to be submitted to the Commission/CAPF.

13.   Carry two passport-size color photographs and a valid Photo ID Proof to the examination venue.

14.   Any fake/fabricated application will be dealt with under the cyber/IT act.

15.   Candidates are fully responsible for their physical and mental preparedness during the recruitment process.

16.   Admit cards for PET/PST and DME/RME will be issued/uploaded on the respective websites. Admit cards will not be sent by post.

17.   If a candidate scores above the cut-off but is not qualified for the subsequent stage, representation must be made within two months of the result declaration.

18.   If a selected candidate doesn’t receive correspondence within a year, they must contact the concerned User Department immediately.
