Qualification

1. Must hold a degree from a University recognized by the University Grants Commission, along with a Bachelor of Law degree (a 3-year or a 5-year Integrated course).
2. For eligibility:
   • (a) Should be actively practicing as an Advocate or Pleader in a Court of Civil or Criminal Jurisdiction for a minimum of three years. OR
   • (b) Must have served for at least six years in positions such as Executive Officer (Grade I, II, III, or IV), Inspector, Head Clerk, Manager, or Superintendent in the Tamil Nadu Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments Department.

1. Master’s degree from a recognized University in subjects such as Maths, Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology, Economics, Geography, History, Commerce, Tamil, or English.
2. Proficiency in Tamil at the Intermediate, Pre-University, or Higher Secondary level.
3. Bachelor of Teaching or Bachelor of Education from a recognized University.

b) For Teacher candidates employed in recognized aided secondary schools and higher secondary schools:

1. Master’s Degree from a recognized University in subjects like Maths, Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology, Economics, Geography, History, Commerce, Tamil, or English.
2. Proficiency in Tamil at the Intermediate, Pre-University, or Higher Secondary level.
3. Minimum twelve years of teaching experience in a recognized school after obtaining a Bachelor of Teaching or equivalent qualification.

·         Pay Scale – Rs. 56100-205700/-

·         Age Limit: Assistant Commissioner- 34 Years, DEO- 32 Years.

·         Age relaxation is extra as per norms.

1. Apply Online:
   • Visit the Commission’s website at www.tnpscexams.in to apply online.
2. –Time Registration (OTR)One:
   • Register at the One Time Registration (OTR) platform on the website.
   • Pay a registration fee of Rs.150/-.
   • Upload a scanned photograph (20 KB – 50 KB) and signature (10 KB – 20 KB).
   • OTR is not an application but a profile maintenance dashboard.
   • Use a valid email ID and mobile number.
   • Link the Aadhaar number with OTR.
3. Details to Furnish During OTR:
   • Provide correct SSLC Register Number, Certificate Number, Month/Year of Passing, Medium of Instruction, and Board details.
   • Ensure accuracy as these details will be used for future applications.
4. OTR Edit:
   • Edit OTR details as needed by uploading supporting documents.
   • Make changes before submitting online applications to avoid rejection.

TNPSC Combined Civil Services Exam 2024 General Instructions

1. General Instructions for Examination:
   • Candidates must bring the downloaded memorandum of admission (hall ticket) and a photocopy of valid ID (Aadhaar card, Passport, Driving Licence, PAN card, Voter ID) to the examination venue.
   • Candidates must appear at the allotted venue mentioned in the hall ticket; no venue changes are allowed.
   • Frisking may be conducted at the venue, and banned items including mobile phones should not be brought.
   • Candidates accompanying persons are not allowed inside the venue.
   • If the photograph on the hall ticket is unclear, candidates should provide a separate photograph with the necessary details to the Chief Invigilator for verification.
   • Candidates should report to the examination venue one hour before the scheduled time.
   • Entry gates to the venue will be closed 30 minutes before the exam starts; no late entries are permitted.
   • Candidates must adhere to specified procedures and precautions, especially during unexpected pandemics.
   • Candidates must show their hall ticket on demand to authorized personnel.
   • Candidates should preserve and produce the hall ticket when required by the Commission.
   • Candidates should maintain discipline inside and around the examination venue.
   • Food and beverages are not allowed inside the examination venue.
   • Candidates with health issues can deposit medication with the room invigilator’s consent.
   • Sit at the allotted place and appear for all examination papers for evaluation.
