B.Sc. (Agriculture) or B.Sc. (Horticulture) degree from a recognized University or Institute.

Preferential:

1. M.Sc. (Agriculture) degree in Horticulture/ Fruits/ Vegetable/ Floriculture from a recognized university or Institute.

2. Served in the Territorial Army for a minimum period of two years, or

3. Obtained a ‘B’ certificate from the National Cadet Corps.

1. B.Sc. (in Chemistry) or B.Sc. (Agriculture) from a recognized university.

2. Two-year Post-graduate Associate Course in Fruit and Vegetable Technology from a recognized institute, or

3. M.Sc. (Food Technology) /  M.Sc. (Food Preservation) /  M.Sc. (Food Science) from a recognized university.

4. Preferential:

5. Minimum two years of service in the Territorial Army, or

6. ‘B’ certificate holder of National Cadet Corps.

Postgraduate degree in Agricultural Chemistry, Soil Science, or Soil Conservation from a recognized university in India or an equivalent qualification recognized by the government.

1. Ph.D. degree in Agricultural Chemistry, Soil Science, or Soil Conservation from a recognized university in India or an equivalent qualification recognized by the government.

2. Served in the Territorial Army for a minimum period of two years, or

3. Obtained a ‘B’ certificate from the National Cadet Corps.

1. Postgraduate degree in Agricultural Botany, Plant Breeding with Genetics, Botany with specialization in Plant Breeding or Genetics, or Forestry from a recognized university in India or an equivalent qualification recognized by the government.

General Instructions for UPPSC Combined State Agricultural Services Exam 2024

1. Applications received after the deadline or lacking required information, photographs, or signatures may be rejected.
2. Candidates must submit their online application by clicking the ‘SUBMIT’ button before the specified deadline and keep a printed copy for reference.
3. Reserved category candidates must obtain and submit a valid certificate from the competent authority as per the prescribed format in the advertisement.
4. Candidates should carefully read the advertisement to ensure eligibility before applying and possess all required qualifications by the application deadline.
5. Dependents of freedom fighters eligible for reservation include specific relatives as defined by government orders; they must obtain a reservation certificate from the District Magistrate.
6. The Commission reserves the right to reject and debar candidates for concealing information, involvement in legal issues, malpractice, or other misconduct.
