Inland Waterways Authority of India (IWAI)

1. IWAI follows Central Govt. rules for service matters, including leased accommodation and medical reimbursement.
2. The number of vacancies is tentative and may change based on IWAI’s requirements.
3. Selected candidates may be posted at the IWAI HQ in NOIDA or regional/sub-offices across India, with all-India transfer liability.
4. The syllabus for the Computer-Based Online Test will align with the eligibility criteria, and the test is tentatively scheduled for October 2024. Admit Cards must be downloaded from the IWAI website.
5. The zone of consideration for various posts may be up to 10 times the available vacancies.
6. The normalization method will be applied in the selection process.
7. Updates on the selection process will be posted on the IWAI website; no telephonic inquiries will be entertained.
8. Possession of essential qualifications does not guarantee selection; IWAI’s decision on eligibility is final.
9. OBC Category:

·         The candidate’s caste must be listed in the Central List of OBCs.

·         The candidate should not belong to the Creamy Layer and must provide a recent OBC certificate (not older than 2019) as per the prescribed format.

1. EWS Category:

·         The applicant must not be covered under SC/ST/OBC reservations and should have a family income below ₹8.00 Lakhs.

·         Certain property thresholds apply, such as owning more than 5 acres of agricultural land or a residential flat/plot exceeding specified sizes.

·         The term “Family” includes the applicant, parents, spouse, and children below 18 years.

·         EWS benefits require an Income and Asset Certificate issued by a competent authority as per the specified format.
