IBPS Clerk Recruitment 2025–26 Eligibility Criteria

  • Age (As of 01.07.2024): 20–28 years
  • Educational Qualifications (As of 21.07.2024): Degree (Graduation) in any discipline from a recognized University

IBPS Clerk Recruitment 2025–26 General Instructions

  1. Document Verification: Candidates must produce valid documents such as a call letter, and a photocopy of photo-identity proof along with the original at the time of online examinations (Preliminary & Main). No documents should be sent directly to IBPS before or after the examinations.

  2. Call Letter Authentication: During the preliminary examination, the call letter and photo ID proof will not be collected at the venue. These documents will be authenticated by the examination venue staff and handed back to the candidates. Candidates must bring these authenticated documents to the main examination along with other required documents. The scribe form (if applicable) must be submitted during both the preliminary and main examinations.
  3. Authenticated Documents: Candidates without the authenticated call letter and photo ID proof at the main examination will not be allowed to appear.
  4. Photographs: Candidates must bring one additional picture (same as pasted on the call letter) along with other requisite documents. Candidates without a picture pasted on the call letter or without the additional photograph will not be allowed to appear for the examination.
  5. Eligibility Criteria: Candidates must ensure they meet the eligibility criteria before applying. They are advised to carefully read the notification and follow all instructions for submitting the online application.
  6. Debarred Candidates: PwBD and PwSD candidates who have been debarred from appearing in CRP examinations for a specified period must adhere to the written communication from IBPS.
  7. Provisional Admission: Admission to the online preliminary examination, shortlisting for the main examination, and subsequent processes are strictly provisional. The issuance of call letters/provisional allotment does not imply final clearance by IBPS or participating banks. Applications can be rejected at any stage if the candidate does not meet eligibility norms or has provided false information. If detected after the appointment, services may be terminated summarily.
  8. Final Authority: Decisions of Nodal Banks/Participating Banks/IBPS regarding eligibility, qualifications, document verification, and other matters related to CRP Clerks-XIV are final and binding. No correspondence or personal inquiries will be entertained.
  9. Scribe Conditions: The scribe arranged by the candidate should not be a candidate for the examination. Violation will result in the cancellation of both candidates’ and scribe’s candidature. A scribe can only assist one candidate in the CRP Clerks-XIV process.
  10. Single Application: Only one application should be submitted. Multiple applications will result in the latest valid application being retained, and fees for other registrations will be forfeited.
  11. Multiple Appearances: Multiple attendances in the online examination will result in the cancellation of candidature.
  12. Application Withdrawal: Online applications cannot be withdrawn and fees paid will not be refunded or held in reserve for other examinations.
  13. Jurisdiction: Disputes arising from this notification are subject to the jurisdiction of the Courts situated in Mumbai.
  14. State Preference: Candidates should indicate their state preference for provisional allotment in the online application. This preference is irrevocable.
  15. Disqualification: Canvassing or influencing the selection process will result in disqualification.
  16. Examination Details: Requests for a change of examination date, time, or venue will not be entertained.
  17. Application Details: Changes in application form details will not be entertained.
  18. Notification Interpretation: In case of a dispute regarding notification clauses, the English version available on the IBPS website prevails.
  19. Signatures: Candidates must ensure consistent signatures in all documents and correspondence. Signatures in capital letters will not be accepted.
  20. Photograph: A recent, recognizable photograph (4.5cm × 3.5cm) should be uploaded and retained for use at various stages of the selection process. Candidates should not change their appearance until the process is completed. Failure to produce the same photograph could lead to disqualification. The photograph must be clear and of appropriate size.
  21. Scanned Documents: Scanned documents uploaded in the online application form should not be smudged or blurred. Unclear documents will result in application rejection.
  22. Handwritten Declaration: The handwritten declaration must be in the candidate’s handwriting and in English, not in capital letters. Declarations in other languages or written by others will result in invalid applications.
  23. Examination Issues: Any problems in the administration of the examination that impact test delivery or result generation will be addressed at IBPS’s discretion. Re-tests are not guaranteed, and candidates not willing to participate in a delayed process will be rejected.
  24. Application Information: IBPS is not responsible for applications made with wrong information provided by unauthorized persons/institutions. Candidates should not share their application details.
  25. Medical Fitness: Appointment of provisionally allotted candidates is subject to medical fitness, compliance with Participating Bank requirements, and service conduct rules. IBPS has no role in this aspect. Queries should be directed to participating banks.
  26. Change of Criteria: IBPS reserves the right to change any selection criteria, method of selection, or provisional allotment.
  27. Email ID: Candidates should have a valid personal email ID, kept active until results are declared. IBPS will send examination-related information via a registered email ID. Candidates should not share their email ID.
  28. Communication: Intimations will be sent by email and/or SMS to the registered email ID and mobile number. IBPS is not responsible for non-receipt due to changes in contact details or technical faults. Candidates should monitor the IBPS website for updates.
  29. Bank Preference: The order of preference for participating banks must be indicated in the online application. No changes will be entertained.
  30. Handwriting Analysis: If the handwriting on the handwritten declaration is found to differ during the selection process or appointment, the candidate’s candidature will be canceled.
  31. Debarred Candidates List: IBPS reserves the right to share the list of debarred candidates with other recruiting agencies for their information.
