HOW TO APPLY on ICF Chennai Apprentices 2024

1. APPLY ONLINE:
   • Facility for submission of ONLINE applications will be available from May 22, 2024, to 21/06/2024 till 17:30 hrs on the ICF website https://pb.icf.gov.in.
2. Application Process:
   • Applications will be accepted only through online mode.
   •  Candidates who wish to apply for ICF Chennai Apprentices 2024, need to log on to the ICF web portal https://pb.icf.gov.in.
   • Candidates should read the notification thoroughly, complete the online application form correctly, and submit it. Before filling out the application form, candidates should have all relevant documents/ certificates and a recent passport-size photograph (not more than 200 KB) in jpg/ jpeg format ready to fill in the required data and upload the photograph.
   • A system-generated registration number will be the candidate’s registration ID. The password to generate acknowledgement is the date of birth. For login purposes, candidates should use the online registration number generated, with the password as the date of birth in “dd mm yyyy” format.
   •  A processing fee of ₹100/- + applicable service charges (non-refundable) is to be paid through online mode. No application fee is required to be paid by SC /ST/ PwBD/ Women candidates.
   • No request for a refund of the fee once remitted by the candidate will be entertained by ICF under any circumstances.
   • Before clicking the submit button, candidates are advised to check whether the details entered are correct.
   • Processing Fee Payment Instructions (For candidates other than SC/ST/PwBD/Women): After successful payment of the processing fee of ₹100/- through ONLINE, a unique Transaction ID starting with ‘DU’ will be sent by the payment gateway system to the registered mobile number. Candidates should preserve this Transaction ID for future reference of payment details. Candidates are NOT required to send/submit any documents, including the system-generated application form, to ICF through Post/e-mail/FAX/By hand.
   • After the final submission, candidates can generate the acknowledgment form from the system. Candidates are advised to take a printout of the acknowledgment generated by the system, which must be submitted at the time of Document Verification of ICF Chennai Apprentices 2024.

ICF Chennai Apprentices 2024 General Instructions

1. It should be noted that the selection and training are strictly in compliance with the provisions of the Apprentice Act, of 1961.
2. The decision of the administration regarding all matters related to the selection process, acceptance, or rejection of the application and mode of application shall be final.
3. Imparting training in Railways will not confer any right to the candidates for their absorption in Railways after successful completion of the training. As per Paragraph 10 of Schedule V of the Apprenticeship Rules, 1991, notified on July 15, 1992, by the Ministry of Labour, it shall not be obligatory on the part of the employer to offer any employment to the apprentice upon completion of the period of apprenticeship training in his/her establishment.
4. Canvassing in any form will disqualify the candidature, and no correspondence will be entertained.
5. The selected candidates should abide by the rules and regulations framed by the Administration from time to time.
6. If any declaration furnished by the candidate is found to be false, he/she will be disqualified/ terminated at any stage of the training period without any notice.
7. Accommodation must be at the candidate’s own cost. The ICF administration does not provide any food or accommodation for the candidates.
