·         Pay Scale: ₹56100-177500/-

·         Age limit: 20 to 27 years.

·         Age relaxation is extra as per norms.

How  to Apply: Indian Army SSC Course Oct 2025

1.       Online Application:

·         Visit www.joinindianarmy.nic.in.

·         Register under ‘Officer Entry Appln/ Login’ (if not already registered).

·         Click on ‘Apply Online,’ select Short Service Commission Technical Course, and fill out the application form.

·         Complete all segments (Personal, Communication, Education, SSB details) and click ‘Submit.’

·         Take two copies of the application with Roll Number 30 minutes after the final closure of the application.

2.       Important Notes:

·         No changes can be made after application closure.

·         Convert CGPA/ Grades into marks as per the university formula.

·         Ensure name, parent’s names, and date of birth in the application match the Matriculation/ Secondary Certificate.

3.       Documents to Carry for SSB:

·         Self-attested Copies with Originals:

o    Printout of the signed application with a photo.

o    Matriculation/Secondary Certificate and Marksheet (proof of Date of Birth, Candidate’s name, and Parents’ names).

o    12th Class or Diploma Certificate and Marksheet.

o    Marksheets of all semesters/ years (no backlog allowed).

o    Conversion formula certificate for CGPA/Grades.

o    Cumulative percentage certificate for final-year candidates.

o    Final-year study certificate (result declaration by 01 OCT 2025, no backlog).

o    Declaration of passing degree by 01 OCT 2025 for final-year candidates.

o    Civil verification documents.

4.       Original Certificates:

o    Originals must be carried out for verification during the SSB interview. Originals will be returned after verification.

5.       Application Guidelines:

o    Retain the second copy of the application for reference. No hard copy is to be sent to DG Recruiting.

o    Submit only one online application. Multiple applications will lead to cancellation.

6.       Candidates in Armed Forces:

o    Inform the commanding officer in writing about the application.

o    Take the countersigned application by the commanding officer to the SSB interview.

7.       Failure to Comply:

o    Candidates without required documents will have their candidature canceled and will be sent back.

·         Integrated HQ of MoD (Army) reserves the right to shortlist applications and set cutoff marks based on graduation percentage and available vacancies for each engineering discipline.

·         Cutoff is applied cumulatively up to the final semester/year.

·         Final-year students may provisionally appear for SSB if:

o    Their cumulative percentage up to the 6th semester (engineering), 8th semester (B.Arch), or 2nd semester (M.Sc.) meets the cutoff.

o    Final results meet the approved cutoff; otherwise, their candidature will be canceled.

2.       Centre Allotment:

·         Shortlisted candidates will be informed via email.

·         Candidates must select their SSB dates on the official website (first-come, first-served basis). Selection Centres may allot dates if candidates fail to choose or under exceptional circumstances.

3.       SSB Interview:

·         Eligible candidates will attend interviews at selection Centres (Allahabad, Bhopal, Bengaluru, or Jalandhar Cantt).

·         Call letters will be sent via registered email and SMS.

·         No requests for changes in the Selection Centre will be entertained.

4.       Two-Stage Selection:

·         Candidates undergo Stage 1; those who pass proceed to Stage 2, while others are sent back the same day.

·         The SSB interview lasts five days, followed by a medical examination for Stage-2 qualifiers.

5.       Training and Joining:

·         Recommended candidates, declared medically fit, will receive joining letters for training in order of merit, depending on vacancies and eligibility criteria.
