Candidates are required to meet the qualifying cut-off marks in GATE 2021, 2022, or 2023 in Electronics & Communication (GATE code: EC) or Computer Science & Information Technology (GATE code: CS). Alongside this, they should fulfill one of the following criteria:

. Hold a B.E. or B. Tech degree in Electronics, Electronics and telecommunication, Electronics and communication, Electrical and electronics, Information Technology, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering from a government-recognized University/ College/ Institute.

. Possess a Master’s Degree in Science with Electronics, Physics with Electronics, Electronics and Communication, Computer Science, or a Master’s Degree in Computer Applications from a Government recognized University/College/Institute.

How to Apply:

ASSISTANT CENTRAL INTELLIGENCE OFFICER GRADE-II/

TECHNICAL RECRUITMENT – 2023

1.       Ensure your personal email ID and mobile number are active throughout the recruitment process. All important communication, including the application sequence number and password, will be sent to the registered email ID. Please avoid redirecting emails to the junk/spam folder.

2.       Provide accurate details when filling out the online application form as editing is only possible before submission of Step-I and Step-II. Once submitted, the form cannot be edited.

3.       Step-by-step application process:

·         Step-I: Register personal and contact details. Login ID and password will be sent via email.

·         Step-II: Re-login to select the category, fill in personal details, and qualification details, upload photo & signature, and pay examination fees and recruitment processing charges.

4.       Application withdrawal is not allowed, and fees are non-refundable. Step-I Registration:

5.       Agree to terms & conditions, click ‘I Agree,’ and register by pressing ‘Registration/Sign-up.’

6.       Fill in all desired information accurately.

7.       After Step-I, receive the login ID (Application Sequence Number) & password via email.

8.       Log out and log in again for Step II to fill in additional details.

9.       Completion of Application Form:

10.   After registration, log in to complete personal details, qualification details, and declaration.

11.   Follow instructions for scanning and uploading photographs and signatures in jpg/jpeg format.

12.   Photograph Image:

·         Colored photo (35mm x 45mm) with a light background, covering 70-80% of the face.

·         Size: 50-100kb.

13.   Signature Image:

·         Sign on white paper with black ink.

·         Scan only the signature area.

·         Size: 50-100kb.

14.   After applying, proceed to the SBI gateway for the examination fee and processing charges payment.

15.   The e-challan is valid for 4 days from generation.

16.   Guidelines for online fee remittance are provided.

17.   For future reference, candidates should keep a printout of their application form after successful submission.

GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS:

1.       The age limit, educational qualifications, and other relevant details will be determined as of the closing date for receipt of applications, i.e., January 12, 2024.

2.       Caste certificates will be accepted by current government instructions.

3.       Date of birth and applicant’s name will be sourced from the matriculation certificate issued by a recognized board, and no other proof will be accepted.

4.       Qualification certificates must be obtained on or before the closing date from a recognized Institution/University/Board.

5.       Candidates awaiting their degree mentioned in the essential qualification column must provide proof on or before the closing date if called for an interview.

6.       Ensure eligibility for the post regarding age, educational qualification, and category. Providing incorrect information may lead to termination of service.

7.       Admission for recruitment is provisional, subject to meeting eligibility conditions. False information or documents will result in the cancellation of candidature at any stage.

8.       Candidates should provide accurate information on age, educational qualification, and category in the application form. Document copies are not required initially but will be necessary if shortlisted for an interview.

9.       SC/ST/OBC/EWS/ESM candidates must carefully fill in their respective categories in the application form, and once mentioned, it cannot be changed.

10.   Candidates seeking reservation benefits must possess relevant certificates in the prescribed format when asked.

11.   OBC category candidates must ensure eligibility as per the Central Government’s notification and should not belong to the creamy layer. Failure to produce the OBC certificate in the specified format (Appendix 1) will lead to rejection.

12.   Change in category will not be entertained, and the candidature will be canceled.

13.   Original certificates/testimonials must be produced during the interview.

14.   Candidates in government service or with PSUs/Autonomous Bodies should obtain the necessary permission before applying.

15.   Candidates awaiting results related to essential qualifications by the closing date need not apply.

16.   Correspondence related to test admission will not be entertained.

17.   No TA or other expenses will be provided, except to unemployed SC/ST candidates.

18.   Mobile phones and electronic gadgets are prohibited in examination centers.

19.   Candidates should verify application form particulars carefully before submission as no changes will be allowed afterward.

20.   Keep the following documents ready in original along with their attested copies:

·         Matric/Secondary School certificate or equivalent.

·         Intermediate/Higher Secondary (12th) certificate or equivalent (if acquired)

·         Graduation/Post Graduation Degree or Provisional degree and mark sheet

·         OBC certificate (if applicable)

·         EWS certificate (if applicable)

·         SC/ST certificate (if applicable)

·         NOC from the present employer (if applicable)

·         Photographs identical to the uploaded one

·         Certificate/document supporting age relaxation (if applicable)
