1.      Visit the official NCL website at www.nclcil.in, navigate to Career > Recruitment > Employment Notification for Direct Recruitment of Supervisory Staff (Assistant Foreman in Mechanical/E&T/Electrical) and apply online.
2.      The Employment Notification is available in English and Hindi; candidates can choose their preferred language. 3.      Carefully review the complete Employment Notification to ensure eligibility. 4.      Candidates, excluding SC/ST/Ex-Servicemen/Departmental Candidates, must pay a non-refundable application fee of Rs. 1180/- (Rs. 1000.00 + GST Rs. 180/-) online. 5.      During the online application, upload scanned copies of a recent passport-size photograph, signature, and relevant documents as specified for each post. 6.      For OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) / SC / ST/ PwBD candidates, upload a self-attested copy of the valid certificate. 7.      EWS candidates should upload a self-attested copy of the valid Income & Asset certificate as per the prescribed format. 8.      If a candidate submits multiple applications, the most recent one will be considered. 9.      Ensure all required documents are attached, as incomplete applications will be rejected. 10.  After submission, verify the accuracy of the provided information, as no changes can be made later. Selection Process:1.      Eligible candidates meeting the minimum criteria as of the Crucial Date will undergo a Computer Test, and selection will be based on the relative score in the test. 2.      Candidates can appear for the Computer Based Test based on their self-declared eligibility in the online application. Scrutiny/Verification will be conducted post-declaration of results for those meeting the cut-off marks. 3.      The computer-based Test for each post includes two sections: Section A with technical knowledge questions (70 MCQs) and Section B covering General Knowledge, Awareness, Reasoning, Verbal & Mental Ability, and Quantitative Aptitude (30 MCQs). There is no penalty for wrong answers, and the paper is bilingual (English and Hindi). 4.      Test Cities are chosen during the application, and NCL may allocate or change the opted Test City. The list of Test Cities can be modified based on the number of applicants. 5.      Selection depends on securing cut-off marks in the Computer Based Test for the specific position and category. In case of ties, preference is given based on Section-A score, Date of Birth, and Alphabetical order. 6.      Results will be published on the NCL website shortly after the Computer Based Test. 7.      Candidates meeting or surpassing the Minimum Qualifying Marks will be notified for scrutiny/verification of their testimonials. Failure to report with original documents within the stipulated time will lead to automatic cancellation. 8.      Provisional merit panels will be published on the NCL website for candidates meeting cut-off marks and fulfilling eligibility criteria. 9.      ‘Assistant Foreman (Electrical) (Trainee) Grade-C’ positions belong to two cadres: Excavation Cadre and Electrical & Mechanical (E&M) Cadre. Candidates applying for this position are considered for both cadres. 10.  On joining, candidates are initially posted in the Excavation cadre based on merit. Once vacancies in the Excavation cadre are filled, E&M cadre vacancies are filled in each category. 11.  Provisional appointment letters will be issued based on merit, eligibility, and reservations for reserved categories. 12.  If, during Scrutiny/Verification or probation, it is found that a candidate does not meet eligibility criteria, their candidature/appointment will be canceled. |

General Instructions for Candidates:1.      Choose one of the three positions listed in ‘Table A’ in the Employment Notification; applying for multiple positions will result in cancellation of the candidature. 2.      Ensure that all qualifications are recognized by AICTE/UGC/appropriate Indian Statutory Authorities. 3.      Before applying, confirm eligibility criteria and cross-check information such as Date of Birth, Category, Contact Details, and Qualifications; no corrections will be allowed later. 4.      NCL management’s decisions on eligibility, application acceptance/rejection, and mode of selection are final; meeting minimum qualifications doesn’t guarantee selection. 5.      Admit Card issuance doesn’t confirm final clearance; eligibility verification occurs after qualifying the Computer Based Test. 6.      False information submission may lead to rejection or termination without notice. 7.      No relaxation in minimum educational qualification is applicable for any category. 8.      Age and eligibility criteria are considered as per the Crucial Date in the Employment Notification. 9.      Category selection in the Online Application form is final; no changes are allowed later. 10.  Ex-servicemen must provide a discharge certificate at the time of document verification. 11.  All documents will be verified, and candidature may be canceled if found unsatisfactory. 12.  Active email and mobile numbers are required for correspondence; candidates are responsible for document management. 13.  Apply well before the closing date to avoid last-minute congestion. 14.  NCL is not responsible for applications not submitted due to reasons beyond its control. 15.  Response query management will be operational on the NCL website after the Computer Based Test. 16.  NCL reserves the right to shortlist candidates, reschedule test dates, or alter conditions as needed. 17.  No liability for service bond/salary/pension from previous employment. 18.  Candidates already employed must produce a ‘No Objection Certificate’ during verification. 19.  Medical fitness is required as per Company rules. 20.  Selection is provisional, subject to document verification, character, and other requirements. 21.  Verification of character and antecedents will be conducted; any discrepancy may result in cancellation. 22.  Computer Based Test details will be provided later. 23.  SC/ST candidates eligible for travel allowance must submit claims with the required documents. 24.  No TA/DA for appearing in the Computer Based Test or joining, except as provided in the advertisement. 25.  Candidates appear at the Exam Center at their own risk; NCL is not responsible for any injury or losses. 26.  NCL management can modify/cancel the recruitment process at its discretion. 27.  All future communication/information will be available on the NCL website; candidates are advised to check regularly. 28. The Court of Jurisdiction for disputes is the Honorable High Court of Jabalpur, M.P. 29.  In case of ambiguity, the English version of the Employment Notification will be considered valid. |
