HOW TO APPLY:

1. Online Application Process:

Candidates are required to apply online through the NLCIL website www.nlcindia.in.

2. Pre-requisites for Online Registration:

Before initiating the online registration/application, ensure possession of a valid mobile number and active personal email ID. These must remain active throughout the selection process, as NLCIL will communicate selection-related information via SMS/email.

3. Single Registration:

Candidates can register only once using their GATE-2023 Registration Number, Name, Email ID, and Mobile Number.

4. Post Selection:

Candidates can apply for one post only, choosing either Area-1 (Thermal Power Stations & Renewable Energy) or Area-2 (Mines & Allied Services). Multiple registrations or applications for both areas are not permitted.

5. Area Selection:

Candidates must choose the Area while applying, and the selected area cannot be altered after submission of the application.

6. Independent Shortlisting:

Shortlisting based on GATE-2023 scores will be done independently for Area-1 and Area-2.

7. Area-specific Claims:

Candidates applying for vacancies in a specific Area cannot claim selection against vacancies in another Area.

8. Online Registration Details:

Candidates are required to register Personal data, Educational Qualification, Age, Category, and other details in the Online Application Portal. Upload necessary scanned copies of documents/certificates to establish eligibility.

9. Document Verification:

After online submission, candidates should take a printout of the registration cum application form. During document verification, produce this form along with self-attested copies of certificates/documents.

10. Scrutiny Process:

Scrutiny for shortlisting will be based on the documents/certificates uploaded during online registration.

11. Document Preview Option:

After uploading a document, a “View Document” option will be provided in the online portal for candidates to review before final submission.

12. Adherence to Conditions:

Candidates must thoroughly read the complete advertisement before applying. Agreement to all conditions is mandatory.

13. Application Submission:

Eligible candidates must apply through the NLCIL website www.nlcindia.in. No manual/paper applications will be entertained.

14. Application Timeline:

The online application portal will be active from 10:00 hours on 22/11/2023 to 17:00 hours on 22/12/2023. Apply within this period to ensure consideration.

GENERAL CONDITIONS:

1. Eligibility Criteria:

1.1 Only Indian Nationals are eligible to apply.

1.2 Qualifications must be obtained from Indian Universities/Institutes recognized by UGC or AICTE or any other applicable statutory authority in India.

1.3 Candidates should possess the notified qualification and have qualified GATE-2023.

2. NOC Requirement:

2.1 Candidates from State PSEs/Central PSEs/Government/Quasi-Government must produce a No Objection Certificate (NOC) during document verification.

2.2 NLCIL reserves the right to adjust eligibility conditions based on response and requirements.

3. Vacancy Reservations and Organizational Discretion:

3.1 NLCIL may choose not to fill all posts at its discretion.

3.2 Vacancies may be increased/decreased based on organizational needs.

4. Application and Selection Process:

4.1 Mere submission of applications does not guarantee selection.

4.2 Provisionally selected candidates will undergo document/certificate verification.

4.3 Candidates removed/terminated/deserted from NLCIL will not be considered.

5. Voluntary Retirement (VR):

5.1 Those availing of VR may apply, subject to meeting eligibility criteria.

5.2 Repayment of VR compensation may be required as per the VR scheme and government rules.

6. Recruitment Process Modification:

6.1 NLCIL reserves the right to modify/cancel/reopen the recruitment process without notice.

7. Language of Certificates:

7.1 If certificates are issued in a language other than English/Hindi, a self-certified translated copy must be submitted.

8. Candidature Rejection:

8.1 Candidature may be rejected at any stage if information/documents are false or not in conformity with eligibility criteria.

9.2 Avoid contacting other officials/divisions.

10. Decision of Appointing Authority:

10.1 NLCIL’s Appointing Authority’s decision on eligibility, acceptance/rejection of applications, and mode of selection is final.

SERVICE & AGREEMENT BOND:

Selected candidates must sign a Service Agreement Bond worth INR 3,00,000/- to serve the company for a minimum of three years post-training.

HOW TO APPLY:

12.1 Apply online through the NLCIL website www.nlcindia.in.

12.2 Ensure a valid mobile number and active email for communication during the selection process.

12.3 Register once using GATE-2023 details. Apply for one post in Area-1 or Area-2.

12.4 Shortlisting based on GATE-2023 score is independent for Area-1 and Area-2.

PAYMENT OF APPLICATION FEE:

13.1 Pay INR 854/- online (Application fee INR 500/- + Processing fee INR 354/-) via State Bank of India E-Collect.

13.2 SC/ST/PwBD & Ex-Servicemen candidates are exempt from the application fee but must pay INR 354/- processing fee.

UPLOADING DOCUMENTS:

14.1 Ensure legible, self-attested document uploads. Arrange multiple documents chronologically in a single PDF file.

14.2 No physical submission of application or documents. Detailed instructions available on the NLCIL Online Application Portal.

LEGAL JURISDICTION:

Any legal proceedings shall be instituted in Chennai, and the Courts at Chennai shall have sole and exclusive jurisdiction.
