1.       Ensure accurate entry of personal details, including

Aadhar number

/PAN number/Marks/CGPA/Preferences for Divisions/Workshops/

Trade, as the Computerized Merit list, relies on this information. Any discrepancies discovered during Document Verification may lead to disqualification.

2.       Applicants must possess an Aadhar Card, and at the time of

registration, input the 12-digit Aadhar Card number. Those without

an Aadhar number but with an Aadhar Enrolment ID can also apply.

This requirement is applicable nationwide.

3.       Maintain accuracy in your name, father’s name, and date of birth, aligning with Matriculation or equivalent certificates. Any deviation

during Document Verification may result in cancellation of candidature.

4.       For effective communication, provide an active mobile number

and valid e-mail ID in the ONLINE application, as crucial updates

will be sent through these channels.

5.       Exercise caution in choosing only one Division/Workshop,

as this choice is final and binding. Verify vacancies in your preferred Division/Workshop based on your Trade/Qualification/Community

/Category using the Trade-wise vacancy table.

6.       Applicants with ITI qualifications in multiple trades can apply

for each relevant trade separately.

7.       Download and keep printouts of your online application for future reference, as they may be required by the Railway Administration.

8.       Report for Document/Certificate Verification with originals and a Medical Fitness Certificate in the concerned Division/Workshop/Unit.

9.       If claiming against EWS Quota, upload the required EWS

Certificate.

10.   Ensure the legible self-attested scanned copy of the necessary

documents, including SSC (Standard 10th) mark sheet, proof of

date of birth, ITI mark sheet, National Trade Certificate,

caste certificate, disability certificate (if applicable), and more,

are uploaded in PDF format with file sizes

between 50 kb to 200 kb.

11.   Upload a clear color photograph and signature in JPG/

JPEG format, adhering to specified dimensions and size limits.

12.   Keep in mind that RRC may reject applications with old/unclear photographs or significant variations from the physical appearance

of the applicants.

13.   Take note of the mandatory production of original documents

during Document Verification, failing which participation in the selection process will not be allowed.

14.   For Economically Weaker Section applicants, upload the

Income & Asset Certificate where applicable.

15.   Avoid common application pitfalls and ensure a successful

application by carefully filling in the correct details and uploading

all relevant documents. Be aware of potential reasons for rejection

during Document Verification, such as missing signatures or

photographs, incomplete applications, inadequate examination fees,

or irregularities observed by RRC-NCR.
