Steps for Applying

1.       Application Fee: Pay ₹1,000/- (non-refundable). SC/ ST/ PwBD/ Ex-servicemen/ internal candidates are exempted.

2.       Eligibility Check: Ensure fulfillment of eligibility criteria and correctness of provided information. Misrepresentation will lead to rejection or termination of service.

Selection Process

1.       Application Dismissal: Incomplete applications or those with discrepancies will be rejected.

2.       No Automatic Rights: Meeting eligibility criteria does not guarantee being called for the interview or selection process.

3.       Scrutiny of Applications: Applications will be scrutinized for eligibility, and only suitable candidates with the required technical and professional expertise will be shortlisted. Call letters do not guarantee eligibility.

4.       Written Test/Interview Intimation: Suitable candidates will be notified of the written test and/ or interview details through the portal and registered email.

5.       Selection Criteria:

·         Written test: 85% weightage

·         Interview: 15% weightage

·         For Posts No. 27 & 28: Qualifying skill test followed by a 100% weightage interview.

6.       Shortlisting: REC reserves the right to apply higher shortlisting criteria if applications are high in number.

7.       Travel Allowance:

·         No TA/DA for written tests.

·         Outstation candidates called for interviews will be reimbursed as per REC rules upon submission of proof and document verification.

·         Reimbursement is limited to the journey from the address in the application or as per proof, whichever is lower.

8.       No Rescheduling: Requests to change the date or venue of the selection process will not be entertained.

9.       Document Verification: Original documents must be presented for verification before the interview.

10.   Final Selection: Based on educational qualifications, work experience, and performance in the selection process, subject to medical fitness and character verification. Results will be published on the portal, and selected candidates will be informed via correspondence or email.

11.   Relieving Order: Candidates from Public Sector/ Government/ Autonomous bodies must provide a proper relieving order at the time of joining.
