Step 1: Visit N.E. Railway’s Website

Upon accessing the website, candidates must log in and carefully provide their personal details and bio-data as required. It’s essential to ensure that your name, father’s name, and date of birth match the records in your Matriculation or equivalent certificate. Any discrepancies found during the Document Verification stage could result in the cancellation of your candidature. If you’ve legally changed your name, you should provide the relevant documentation. Ensure your mobile number and email address are active, as communication will be conducted through them.
Step 3: Submit a Single Application
Applicants should submit only one application based on their eligibility. Submitting multiple applications with different particulars or contact details will lead to rejection. Upon submitting the online application, you will receive a Registration ID and password via your registered email. Keep these credentials for future reference and correspondence.
Step 4: No Need to Send Physical Copies
There’s no need to send physical application printouts, certificates, or copies via postal mail. All information will be sent to your login ID. General Terms and Conditions
    1. Eligibility Conditions:
- Candidates must meet all eligibility conditions specified for the post.
- Their eligibility for the position mentioned in this notification will be determined based on the information provided in the online application.
- Any falsification, suppression of relevant information, or failure to meet eligibility criteria will result in the immediate cancellation of the candidate’s candidature.
- 2. Document Requirements:
Production of original documents verifying the date of birth and educational qualifications is mandatory.
- Certificates in languages other than English or Hindi should be accompanied by an attested translation.
- Photocopies of all documents should be self-attested.
3. Application Tips:
- Carefully read all instructions in the notification and ensure eligibility before filling out the online application form.

4. Contractual Terms:

- Regular performance assessments will be conducted, and those who do not meet expectations may be given 30 days’ notice.
- In cases of gross negligence, misconduct, or irregularities, the engagement may be terminated immediately.
5. Important Instructions:
- Candidates must complete the online application with scanned copies of necessary enclosures (e.g., Age Certificate, Education, Professional Experience, Caste/Community, etc.).
- Use the same format for your name and other particulars as they appear in your Educational Certificate.
- Submit a recent passport-size color photograph with the online application.
- Sign in your full name, not in block/capital letters or disjointed letters.
- Ensure you possess the required educational qualification by the closing date of the notification.
- Candidates claiming reduced fees (e.g., SC/ST/Minorities/Economically Backward Class / EWS) must provide the appropriate certificates.
- Government employees should apply through proper channels or include a NO OBJECTION CERTIFICATE from their employer.
- Applications that do not meet the terms and conditions in this notification will be rejected.
6. Preparing for the Personality Test:
- Be ready to appear for the Personality test at short notice after the online application closing date.
- Shortlisted candidate lists, venues, and times will be published on N.E. Railway’s website (www.ner.indianrailways.gov.in).
- Bring all originally uploaded documents and one set of self-attested documents for the Personality test.
7. Provisional Admission:
- Admission at all stages of the Personality test is provisional, subject to meeting eligibility conditions.
- The issuance of a Login ID does not imply final clearance.
8. Important Notice:
- The contract may be terminated if information or documents provided are found to be incorrect or fake at any stage.
- The Railway Administration/Screening Committee’s decisions on eligibility, acceptance/rejection of applications, final selection, job offers, suitability for North Eastern Railway (Construction), and post/pay assignment are final and binding.
- No further inquiries or correspondence will be entertained on these matters.
