| 1.      Visit www.wcr.indianrailways.gov.in and navigate to “About us -> Recruitment -> Railway Recruitment Cell -> Engagement of Act Apprentices for 2023-24” to apply online.
2.      Follow the detailed instructions provided on the website for filling out the online application form. 3.      Carefully enter your details and bio-data in the online application, ensuring they match the information in your Matriculation (10th) or equivalent certificate. 4.      Note that any deviation in the recorded information during Document Verification will result in the cancellation of candidature. 5.      Provide an active mobile number and valid email ID in the online application, as important communications will be sent through email/SMS. 6.      Review the available training slots for your ITI Trade and select the specific trade of the respective divisions/units based on your merit position. 7.      Keep printouts of your online application, as eligible candidates will be called for Document Verification, and the printout is required at that time. 8.      Document Verification will take place at RRC/Jabalpur, Jabalpur division, Bhopal division, Kota division, CRWS Bhopal & WRS Kota. However, the verification will be conducted at the applied unit only. 9.      Requests for a change of Document Verification location will not be entertained under any circumstances. 10.  RRC Jabalpur reserves the right to change the Document Verification location as per exigencies. 11.  To avoid a last-minute rush, submit your online application well in advance before the closing date. |

Important Instructions:1.       The Railway administration’s decisions on eligibility, application acceptance, and selection mode are deemed final. 2.      Successful completion of training in the Railway does not guarantee absorption in the Railway. As per the Apprenticeship Rules,1991, employers are not obligated to offer employment, and apprentices are not obliged to accept it. 3.      Canvassing in any form will lead to disqualification, and no correspondence will be entertained. 4.      The number of training slots indicated in the notification is provisional and subject to change based on the administration’s actual needs during the finalization of the select list. 5.      Engineering Graduates and Diploma holders are ineligible for this apprenticeship, as they fall under a separate apprenticeship scheme. 6.      Candidates must ensure eligibility criteria are met, and any erroneous engagement may result in summary removal without notice. 7.      Original testimonials must be produced for verification. Providing false certificates may lead to removal at any stage, even after selection. 8.      No daily allowance, conveyance allowance, or travel allowance will be provided for candidates called for document verification. 9.      After selection, requests to change Division/Unit and trade will not be considered. 10.  The list of selected candidates for Document Verification will be uploaded on the WCR website (www.wcr.indianrailways.gov.in) under “About us->Recruitment->Railway Recruitment Cell->Engagement of Act Apprentices for 2023-24.” 11.  Candidates are advised to regularly check the WCR website for updates and corrigendum. Important notifications will also be sent to their registered email IDs and contact numbers. |
