Attendant cum Technician Trainee

Matriculation and Completion of a one-year apprenticeship training in a designated trade from an integrated steel plant, along with the possession of a National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) issued by the National Council for Vocational Training, is required.

1.       Visit SAIL’s official careers website to apply online. No other methods of application will be accepted.

2.       Before applying, carefully review and confirm that you meet all the eligibility criteria. Registration will be provisional, and receiving an admit card or skill test call letter does not guarantee acceptance of your candidature.

3.       Keep in mind that if any provided information is false or doesn’t meet eligibility criteria at any stage of the recruitment process, your candidature may be rejected or terminated upon joining. Make sure to provide valid documentary proof of eligibility.

4.       While filling out the online application, follow all the steps diligently. Incomplete applications, those lacking processing or application fees, or failing to meet eligibility criteria will be summarily rejected. Please note that no correspondence will be entertained regarding such rejections.

5.       Review the instructions for online application submission available on the application page carefully.

Before beginning your application, ensure you have the following ready:

1.       A valid email address for registration and future correspondence throughout the recruitment process and after selection, if applicable.

2.       A functional mobile number to receive SMS notifications and communications related to your online application, admit card, call letters, and more, both during and after the recruitment process, if selected.

3.       Access to the internet for online application submission.

4.       A recently scanned passport-sized color photograph, following the specified format.

5.       Your scanned signature, adhering to the specified format.

Important Application Guidelines

1.       Retain a printout of your submitted Application form for the Skill/Trade test if shortlisted.

2.       Original certificates supporting your application details will be required during the Skill/Trade test. Without proper documentation, your application may be rejected.

3.       Fees once paid are non-refundable. Ensure eligibility before making payments. Failed transactions will be automatically refunded.

4.       Candidates must be Indian nationals with qualifications recognized by UGC, AICTE, NCVT, or Central/State Govt.

5.       Candidates not meeting eligibility criteria should refrain from applying.

6.       NAC Certificate provided at the time of application determines eligibility for CBT and admit card issuance.

7.       Distance education, correspondence courses, or off-campus qualifications are not eligible.

8.       Use your full name as in your Matriculation/Secondary certificate while applying.

9.       Caste certificate submission for reservation benefits is required in a specific format.

10.   If the certificate is not in English/Hindi, provide a self-certified translated copy.

11.   Physically challenged candidates need a valid disability certificate and must meet relaxed physical standards.

12.   Ex-servicemen must provide a civil equivalence certificate for qualification.

13.   Candidates sponsored by local employment exchanges must apply through the SAIL website with the prescribed application fees.

14.   Falsification or non-conformity with eligibility criteria can lead to rejection at any stage of recruitment.

15.   Information entered during online application cannot be changed later.

16.   Advertised positions are tentative, and SAIL/ Bokaro Steel Plant may fill them at their discretion.

17.   No influence or unfair means should be used during the selection process.
