📌 Note:

  • Age Limit (as on 01-08-2025):
    • MTS: 18 to 25 years
    • Havaldar & a few MTS posts: 18 to 27 years
  • Age Relaxation:
    • SC/ST: 5 years

    • Ex-Servicemen, Central Government employees, and others: As per Govt. norms

Applying for SSCMTS 2025 or Havaldar Recruitment is now more streamlined through the new SSC platform.

Here are the steps:

  1. One-Time Registration (OTR):
    • Visit the new SSC website: https://ssc.gov.in
    • Click on “Login or Register.”
    • Use Aadhaar for quick authentication, or upload the required documents
    • Fill in your details and upload a live-captured photograph
    • Submit and generate your Registration ID
  2. Fill Out Application Form:
    • Log in using your Registration ID and Password
    • Select the exam: Multi-Tasking Staff and Havaldar (CBIC & CBN) Examination 2025
    • Fill academic category, preference of posts & states, and other details
    • Upload your signature in 6cm x 2cm (JPEG format)
  3. Pay Application Fee:
    • Via UPI/Net Banking or Card (based on category)
  4. Preview & Submit:
    • Double-check all the entered data and submit the form
    • Download and keep a copy for future use

📌 Old registrations on ssc.nic.in will not work. Register anew at ssc.gov.in.

The selection process varies slightly between posts:

🔹 For MTS:

  • Computer-Based Examination (CBE) only
  • Consists of Session I and Session II
  • Merit will be based only on marks obtained in Session II

🔹 For Havaldar (CBIC & CBN):

  1. Computer-Based Examination
  2. Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
    • Male: 1600 meters in 15 min
    • Female: 1 Km in 20 min
  3. Physical Standard Test (PST)
    • Height: 157.5 cm (Male), 152 cm (Female)
    • Chest/Weight requirements as per norms

Exam Structure:

Session I (No Negative Marking)

  • Numerical & Mathematical Ability: 20 Qs – 60 Marks
  • Reasoning & Problem Solving: 20 Qs—60Marks

Session-II (Negative marking: 1 mark per wrong answer)

  • General Awareness: 25 Qs – 75 Marks
  • English Language: 25 Qs – 75 Marks
  1. Applications without Aadhaar-based authentication must upload ID proofs.
  2. Candidates must fill in preferences for Post-cum-State/CCA wisely. Once submitted, no modifications are allowed outside the correction window.
  3. The “Window for Correction” opens after the last date of application submission. You can revise your form only twice.
  4. Use clear, recent photos & legible signatures—blurry images can lead to rejection. Applications with live webcam-captured photos are preferred.
  5. Female applicants and persons with disabilities (PwBD) are strongly encouraged to apply.
  6. PET/PST is qualifying only; no marks are awarded.
  7. EWS candidates must ensure their income and asset certificate is valid for FY 2025–26.
  8. SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PwBD candidates must be ready to furnish certificates in prescribed formats at the document verification stage.
  9. Candidates appearing as scribes for multiple aspirants will face debarment.
  10. Final result will be based on preference + merit + document verification.

Is Aadhaar mandatory for the SSC Online Form 2025?

No, but it simplifies the One-Time Registration. Otherwise, alternative documents will be needed.

Can I choose my own scribe for the Havaldar exam?

Yes, provided the scribe is one level below your qualification, registered on the SSC portal, and Aadhaar-authenticated.

Can I appear for both MTS and Havaldar posts?

Just make sure to select relevant preferences during the application.
