The Defence Research & Development Organisation (DRDO), under the Ministry of Defence, invites applications for Junior Research Fellow (JRF) positions at the Naval Physical and Oceanographic Laboratory (NPOL), Kochi. Candidates should carry:

  • Fellowship does not guarantee future absorption in DRDO.
  • Monthly stipend: ₹37,000 + HRA as per rules.
  • Fellowship tenure: Initially 2 years (extendable as per rules).

Is there any written test for selection?

No, selection is based on a walk-in interview and document verification.

Can final-year students apply?

No, only candidates with completed qualifications and valid NET/GATE scores are eligible.

Will travel allowance be provided for attending the interview?

No TA/DA will be provided for attending the walk-in interview.
