The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released its Recruitment Advertisement No. 12/2025, inviting Online Recruitment Applications (ORA) for multiple prestigious posts. Eligibility Requirements (Post-Wise Summary)

  • Assistant Public Prosecutor (CBI): Law Degree, Age 30 (UR/EWS), 33 (OBC), 35 (SC), Pay Level-07.
  • Public Prosecutor (CBI): Law Degree + 7 years’ criminal practice, Age 35 (UR/EWS), 38 (OBC), 40 (SC/ST), Pay Level-10.
  • Lecturers (All Subjects – Botany, Chemistry, Economics, History, Home Science, Physics, Psychology, Sociology, Zoology): Post-Graduate in a relevant subject + B.Ed., Age 45 (ST, Ladakh domicile only), Pay Level-09.

  1. Shortlisting of Candidates – based on qualifications/experience.
  2. Recruitment Test (if required) – Objective/Descriptive paper depending on post.
  3. Interview / Personality Test – Final merit will be prepared based on 75% weightage to RT (if held) and 25% weightage to Interview.

Minimum qualifying marks in interview:

  • UR/EWS: 50%
  • OBC: 45%
  • SC/ST/PwBD: 40%
