Job Profile and Responsibilities
The Radio Officer will play a key role in ensuring the smooth functioning of the DG COMM & LRIT Centre. The responsibilities include:
- Manning the DG COMM & LRIT Centre during assigned shifts.
- Supporting the Directorate General of Shipping and Marine Consultants in day-to-day operations.
- Analyzing casualty reports from companies and preparing related documentation.
- Compiling weekly and monthly performance reports of the DG COMM Centre.
- Carrying out any other tasks assigned by the Nautical Surveyor (Casualty Branch).
The position requires round-the-clock commitment in rotational shifts, making it suitable for candidates accustomed to maritime and communication-based operations.
